IDENTIFIERS TAB - Client Profile
This Tab displays client identifier numbers that were assigned to the client when they received a benefit or service from a state funded program or if they are on a list as eligible for a state funded service or program. The person may never have actually received a service. The numbers are downloaded to Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) from other HHS data systems such as the DSHS’ WebCARE or BHIPS programs or HHS’ SAVERR or Tiers.
How to Add or Change an Identifier
Information For NorthSTAR Users:
- NorthSTAR service providers may not add or change the NorthSTAR Identification number in CMBHS. Only the NorthSTAR BHO can manually change the NorthSTAR Identification number in CMBHS. A special role, that of NorthSTAR Enrollment Specialist should be assigned to the BHO staff that will perform that function.
Update a Client Profile
If you are already in the client’s CMBHS Health Record
- If you are currently in the client’s CMBHS Health Record, the quickest way to update the client’s profile is to CLICK ON the Client’s name (underlined and in blue) at the top of the page.
- CLICKING ON this link will automatically open a box with the Client’s Profile that the user may view or update.
- The Client’s Name displays (underlined and in blue) at the top of every page of the client’s CMBHS Health Record. This ensures quick access to the Client Profile without taking the user away from the page they are working on.
If you are not at the client’s CMBHS Health Record
- Go to the Client Workspace for the client whose information you want to update. You may search for the client using Find/Add Client or you may pick the client from the Client List on your Clinical Workspace.
OR
- Go to the Clinician Workspace.
- Pick a Client from the Client List. CLICK anywhere in the row and that row will be highlighted.
- CLICK ON the Client Profile to open the Profile page. The page will display in Read-only mode.
OR
- Go to your Clinician Workspace.
- CLICK ON Find/New Client from the Client Services toolbar on the left.
- On the Client Search page, enter Search Criteria
- CLICK HERE for additional information on How to Search for a Client.
- After entering the search criteria, CLICK ON the Search button.
NOTE:
- If your search produces a large number of clients that match the search criteria, not all the results will display on the first page.It may take many pages to display them all.
- Be sure to check all the pages before creating a new client.
- The numbers at the bottom of the list of search results are the number of pages.
- CLICK ON any number to view the results on that page.
